The TUF-1000 has been designed with a rugged plastic case featuring rubber grips to prevent it slipping from your hands. This portable scale also has an extra-large 14 mm. digital display set against an orange back-light for extra clarity.

The TUF-1000 also offers six weighing modes - grams, ounces, troy ounces, pennyweights, carats and grains. Its detachable stainless steel lid, measuring 76 mm x 59 mm, also doubles up as the weighing tray.
